Offer: Scrapbook Supply Box May 10, 2008
The scrapbook supply box has made it’s first very successful trip, and is now back with me where it started! I would love to send it out on it’s way again.
Anything scrapbook-related may be added to the box (including magazines, books, scrapbooking supplies, papers, embellishments, stickers..etc.) This is a “give and take box” so try to only take out as much as you put back in.
The box will be ready to go on Monday morning. Once you receive it, kindly sign in the address book, so all of the people using it will know where you live for pick-up and drop off purposes in future!
I am so pleased with how this swap is going! Let’ keep the box circulating!

Does someone have enough space to accomodate a lot of us and our supplies?
Weeknights are probably better than weekends (less fuss from the hubby about watching the kids). Wednesday & Thursday nights work best for me, what about everyone else?

If we have problems contacting the next person on the list maybe we should skip to the next person after a couple of days to keep the box moving? What does everyone else think? We could always try to squeeze them in somewhere but keep the box moving.

I agree, keep it moving! If you have the box, keep it going…it shouldn’t be sitting waiting, so if it is in your hands and you cannot get the next person for a day or so, move to the next on the list.
That is my opinion though…it can work how ever we all agree…

We need to keep the scrap-swap-box moving along. It should ideally, not be at any one person’s house for more than 24 hours.
I am not trying to sound *anal* but let’s all try to keep it going as quick as possible

In order of who gets the box next.
It is up to the person who has the box to contact the next in line with a direct email or phone call. Not everyone looks at this page daily. I think this is why the box is going so slowly. Here is the list of members to the best of my knowledge

I don’t have the box yet & haven’t heard from sno-star, there’s a message on here that she lives on my street and got it on Friday.
I also agree that two days is plenty to look through the box and move it along, however maybe three for the weekend would be better incase someone goes away.
Hope we’re not sounding too cranky but it’s been awhile since some of us have seen the box and it’s just so exciting to look at!
actually I get it after Catherine usually because its very easy for me to get it from her.
I usually go through the box when I get it and its ready right after that..lol. I get too excited to wait!

SCRAP-BOOKERS UPDATE:
Hi ladies! Okay, first, we have outgrown the scrap-box, and so I have moved everything into a BIG Rubbermaid tote. Much bigger, and way more space. YAY!
Second, a generous lady has given us a table to use! It is bigger than a card table, and is so perfect for scrapbooking on! Space for 3 more people I’d say. It’s a wee bit heavy, but it is great!
Thursday nights are still a go! Let me know if you are interested in coming! I’ll save you a spot

Who’s turn or would like to pick up the box from Rosie? If no one gets it in the next few days, I guess I am going to go pick it up. It needs to keep circulating, and no one should be chasing anyone to pick it up. It is supposed to go to Heather, Stella, Maggie…can any of you pick it up tomorrow?
We just had a death in the family, so I am not sure if I can put much effort into chasing it this week, as I am so busy running back and forth to Owen Sound. Can someone pick up the box and try to keep it in motion?

Also, just to let you know that Rosie is putting on a scrapbooking day on Saturday, there is a big group of us that do this once every couple months and we scrapbook for 12 hours long!! It’s great and only $15 to come and she does draws all day and lots of fun stuff! Anyone can e-mail me if they want info on it!

The scrap box is back with me, re-stocked, and ready to go. It has gotten lighter again because there are only 2 books in there now
Anyhow, who is the next in line? It is ready to go…I added a bunch of new stickers, some paper and a book and a magazine…other than that, it is pretty much the same stuff.
Should we break for a few weeks, or does anyone have a friend to add to the circuit to keep it new and fresh? Thoughts ladies?
If people are too busy, we can always break for summer and start up again in the fall…
