Wanted : Some Help Please July 1, 2008

As some of you know I am trying to get my house ready to sell.  We have been doing many home renovations…and they are taking a bit longer then we thought they would be.  I was hoping I could find some help to finish things up as we would like to put the house on the market for Monday.  Some help I need is…

- My front garden,  there are no flowers but 2 sad shrubs that need trimming.  I have no green thumb so it has been on its own for many years.  I just don’t know what to do with it?

- Porch painter, it is mostly primed just needs second coat.

- Wall painters, for Thursday.

- Fence repair, old cedar fence needs straightening, and some lattice put up on another.

- Tree trimmer?

- Babysitter, I have 2 kids ages 10, and 8.  I don’t have time this week to take them to the park.  Maybe a few afternoons?

- On Saturday, we plan to demo our back garage?

I do not have much to swap with except food of course and I can do childcare when it is all done.  Please let me know if you are able to help us.  Thank you!

Clothing Bus June 30, 2008

This idea was mentioned before…but nothing came of it?  I have a small bin full of nice clothes, sizes range from 9-18.  I would like to start this bus off.  It would be an add and take box of nice, clean clothes.  So who would like it first?

Mystery Swap Box June 19, 2008

Was wondering if anyone was interested in doing a Mystery Swap Box?

Same idea as the craft and scrap box.  I think a large a gift bag would do to hold the items in.  I would suggest we only put in “nice” and useful items.  Not just stuff you want to get rid of.  But stuff others could use or may enjoy.  I have some items ready, please let me know if any of you would be interested in doing this.

Mens shorts/pants - size 34, for length 32 or 34.

White rectangular table cloth or white runner for table.

Parson chair covers - white/black?

Area rugs - all sizes would be useful.

I can swap with some nice baskets, a wicker chest, Vhs movies, 2 yellow ikea stools(short), books, dishes, magazines, and/or let me know what you are looking for.

I have to offer a white children’s CCM hockey helmet.  Size 52-56cm (small).  It expires June 2009.  It has never had a visor.  Was used as a skating helmet.  Looks brand new!  Used very little as my kids must have very large heads :)  Swap???
