I am actually going out!!! Bought new capris and searching for a belt. Ladies size 30-32ish. Maybe a black or white cotton belt?????? I have jewelry such as new earrings and costume necklaces to swap. Also looking for a necklace with a round or oval pendant -costume. Black or blue or green or white colours. Again, happy to trade for these.
Saw some cute lamps at Walmart, but thought I’d check here for a possible “swap”. Perhaps a lamp that is spiderman, diego, cars or just a boys theme. There are some out with dinkie cars that would be PERFECT. Also looking for hot wheels/dinkie cars for swap. Hopefully they will be on Zellers for .40 again sometime soon.

Just TESTING out the concept that maybe a number would help as a swapping quide for people to compare what they have and what they want and what they would like to swap? Just an idea - not sure if it would add anything to the process or not. Not REALLY a price, just a SWAP VALUE. Not a PURCHASE price unless the value is the same because it is BRAND NEW from the store. Just a thought. ?????????????????? Is anyone having trouble deciding what to offer as a swap or what the value might be?

My “available” items are currently out in a small yard sale at 86 Rodgers road (near Kortright Zehrs)- but I’d be happy to offer them to Guelph swappers. A few strand of ivy out there too.
Is anyone interested in getting together for a “swap meet” - essentially - a community concept of bringing some things to a central location and then leaving with some new things. For example, I have two tables of stuff out on Rodgers road and I would sure rather be using my time to give these things to people who can use them and then maybe picking up a few things that my family could use in the process.

Some of us have previously tossed around the idea of a “clothing bus”. This is a bin of clothes that travels from home to home for ladies to add or take clothing in good condition. This would be modern styles, all clean (freshly washed even if it has been in storage), stuff that people could wear and enjoy at work or casual. Small accessories or other little goodies would be okay if they fit in the bin or duffle bag. Maybe a Rubbermaid or a hockey bag? There would be a list of “stops” with phone numbers and email addresses. When it is your turn, it would be your job to PICK UP the bin from the previous home. If you aren’t able, you can “pass” at any time and the next person goes ahead. Choose for yourself or family members in your home. Items will not be otherwise distributed or donated until they’ve gone around a couple of times and are obviously of no interest to the group. Any takers? Please reply with email and size. Might need to break into groups if the size range is really broad.

Hello swappers. Just had a thought that maybe if everyone has one or two purses or bags that they aren’t using, we could pass around a bin or large bag full of these to swap and shop. Add variety to an accessorie that many like to keep “fresh and new” - this coming from someone who will carry the same purse for months or longer! Anyway, just an idea. I have two that I could put in the “pot” to start.
This isn’t good - but while some are losing I seem to be gaining. Weird. Anyway, I am somewhere between a 10 and 12 and looking for any bottoms such as long shorts, capris or jeans. I had one of each and left them while away - now I have nothing that fits for a work retreat this week. Casual. Needed by Tuesday or I’ll have to find time to hit a store or two. If you have any to swap or part with, I could pick up Tuesday….pm
